Catalogue
Do you have a catalogue?
Unfortunately we do not maintain a printed catalogue. All of our products, photographs and details can be found on our website. We find this is the easiest and most up to date way of keeping our customers advised of our current products.
We can provide ad hoc details to some customers and wholesalers on specific product ranges. If there is something specific you require then please contact us and we will do our best to help.
Showroom
Can we visit / do you have a showroom
We are an internet retailer and wholesaler only and do not have a physical retail outlet. Our warehouse is currently being developed to hopefully contain a showroom in the future. If you would like to come to view a large item prior to purchase then this can be done strictly on an appointment basis only. Please contact us for further details and our warehouse address.

Leather Pouffes

Leather Pouffes
Pouf Care
We have 2 types of pouf. The medium sized ones are natural dyed untreated whilst the large size is patent - this means it is coated with a very thin plastic film.
Here are care instructions for both types of pouffe.
General
* Avoid direct sunlight to prevent the colour from fading.
* Do not place near a radiator - the heat will dry out the leather.
* All of our pouffes are made from 100% natural leather - dont worry if there are small imperfections or variations in colour.
* If your pouf gets wet then immediately wipe it with a soft dry cloth, remove any filling and pack it with paper to absorb any water. Leave it to then dry naturally.
Large patent poufs
* Treat your pouf as you would any other patent leather item. Wipe off any dirt or marks with a damp cloth. Do not wet directly.
Medium poufs
* Treat your pouf as you would any other leather item. Wipe off any dirt or marks with a soft dry cloth.
Filling your leather pouf
We get asked repeatedly about what is the best way to fill our leather pouffes (you can view our latest range by clicking here) so here are a few handy hints.
If you are going to be sitting on your pouf regularly then we recommend filling the pouf with fabric.
1) Each of our pouffes has a zip fastener running along the base of the pouf to allow easy access for filling. Turn upside down and unzip to start filling.
2) The cheapest way to fill a pouf is by using any old clothes or fabric you have. The heavier the fabric the better - for example a pair of curtains or jeans.
3) You do not need to cut the fabric into small pieces - just stuff inside the pouf until full. You will need to manipulate the fabric though to remove any lumps and bumps. Ideally put a piece of fabric flat on the inside of the pouf (what will be the top when you turn it over).
4) Pack the fabric well inside the pouf to remove as much of the air as possible. Try zipping the pouf closed and check if more fabric is required. You will be surprised how much you can fit inside!
5) If this is all too much effort you want an easier option then try our polystyrene ball filling service!
Tagines
What is a tagine?
A tagine (also spelt tajine) is a terracotta cooking pot traditionally used for Moroccan dishes of the same name. It has a dish with conical cover. It is similar to a pressure cooker / slow cooker.
The recipe of a tagine is similar to a stew of meat, fish or poultry simmered with a mixture of vegetables, olives and spices. It is usually served with bread or cous cous.
Types of tagine
We supply 2 types of tagine - serving and cooking. The vibrantly coloured tagines are for serving and display purposes only. Not suitable for cooking, (although they can be warmed very gently with a heat diffuser prior to being used for serving food) but great for a dinner party if you are looking to impress your guests!
The terracotta tagines are suitable for cooking. Use these on a hob with a heat diffuser to get an authentic Moroccan flavour.
Tagine Care
Tagines are easy to care for. We stock glazed tagines which means they are not porous like the unglazed version and do not require firing or soaking in water before first use.
If you choose to use your tagine in the oven, then for the first time make sure you gradually increase the heat.
When using on top of the cooker - on the hob (we think this is the best method for cooking) then use a heat diffuser if you can. This helps to spread the heat around the base of the tagine, reduce chance of cracking and stops the base from blackening.
* Not suitable for dish washer cleaning - wash by hand with normal detergent.
Tagine Uses
What can I cook in a tagine? Tagines are great because they are versatile. We have tried all sorts of recipes in them - not just Moroccan. Any sauce based dish works well.

If you would like a wider selection of Moroccan recipes then you could try a book from our latest collection.

Is it safe buying online from Momo Interiors?
Yes. We take your security seriously - which is why we have invested in the most secure methods of looking after your personal details.
We want you to feel safe when ordering from us online so please find below detailed information as to how we keep your information safe. If you have any queries regarding this then please email us at mail@momo-interiors.com
As a general rule when buying online you should always be able to locate a padlock image on your internet browser. Failing that check that the web page you are ordering from starts "https" rather than just "http" when entering your credit card details. We detail below where to look for the padlock when ordering specifically from Momo Interiors.
Payments
We offer three payment options for purchases on our website - Credit card payments through Protx, Google Checkout and Paypal. All systems are secure.
Credit card payments through Protx and Google Checkout
Protx and Google Checkout are our online payment processors. This means that when you enter your credit card details to pay for your goods, they are responsible for taking these details and verifying them with the bank. Not only do they do this but they are responsible for looking after this data securely.
Protx Transaction security
All transaction information passed between our website and Protx is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. You can be completely secure in the knowledge that no information you supply can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.
Once received by Protx, all sensitive data is secured using the same internationally recognised 256-bit encryption standards used by, among others, the US Government.
The encryption keys are held on state-of-the-art, tamper proof systems in the same family as those used to secure VeriSign's Global Root certificate, making them all but impossible to extract. The data Protx holds is extremely secure and they are regularly audited by the banks and banking authorities to ensure it remains so.
To check your details are secure then when asked to enter your credit card details locate and click on the padlock image which can be found on the payment pages to confirm that your details are collected in a secure environment
The padlock is located in a different area of the payment page screen depending on the internet browser you are using - below is a list of the most popular internet browsers and where the padlock can be located on each of them.
Internet Explorer 6.0 (and previous versions): The padlock is located in the bottom right hand corner of the screen.
Internet Explorer 7.0: The padlock is located at the top of the screen and resides next to the address bar.
Firefox (all versions): The padlock is located in both the bottom right hand corner of the screen and inside the address bar at the top of the screen.
Opera: The padlock is located at the top of the screen and resides next to the address bar.
Safari: The padlock is located at the very top right hand corner of the screen and resides next to the 'minimize', 'maximise' and 'close browser window' buttons.
This padlock shows that your details are collected using 128 bit secure SSL technology.
Once you have entered your details, Protx will securely send these details to the bank to be authorised. This is a completely secure process and we ensure that your details cannot be accessed by a third party.
Protx is audited by an independent auditor on a regular basis to ensure that we comply with the latest security standards set out by Visa and MasterCard.
If you require any further information about Protx or how they hold your data then visit http://www.protx.co.uk
Payments through Paypal
For website payments Paypal uses a SSL secure server. The server automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to theirs using the secure sockets layer protocol (ssl) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available). Before you even register or log on to our site, the server checks that you're using an approved browser - one that uses ssl 3.0 or higher.
What is a SSL?
SSL stands for secure sockets layer which is basically a system that encrypts your personal details (name, address, credit card details, passwords etc) whilst on the internet so that it cannot be read by anyone except the intended server).
Privacy Policy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).
We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service.
We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent (we ask you at the time of ordering)
We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us or from another trader in the future.
The type of information we will collect about you includes:
your name
address
phone number
email address
credit/debit card details
We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.
The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.
The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.
If we intend to transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first.
We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings.
